Clara Hyder

Hailing from Edinburgh, Clara studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she was awarded the Sheriff’s Prize when she graduated with first class honours, as well as a Concert Recital Diploma for her final recital performance. Regularly playing with various ensembles, Clara is a member of award winning early music ensemble ‘Sacred Bones’ and performed with them at Barbican’s Sound Unbound Festival. With a love of collaboration Clara has worked with contemporary dancers, artists, actors, poets and storytellers – performing at the Rosekilde Festival, Denmark, the National Museum of Scotland and the Tate Modern. With a background in making music with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Clara often works with Academy of St Martin in the Fields on their outreach project for people affected by homelessness.
