artist-curator & educator
"I am an artist-curator and educator, dedicated to creating spaces where art, culture and education meet and interact. My work advocates for social engagement and cultural diversity; explores the dynamic between artists, artwork and spectators; and investigates how the participatory aspects of art can positively influence research and learning and advance the societies we live in.
In the past 15 years, I’ve created mixed media art projects, designed art publications, developed educational university programmes, and curated exhibitions and cultural events in Damascus, Leipzig, Paris, Montreal and London.
Today, I am based in London and in the coming years, I am interested in designing participatory art projects, ambitious exhibition spaces, and educational art programmes where people from different backgrounds can touch their creative side, learn new skills, reflect on social issues, express themselves and connect with others.
