Laura is an Anglo-Italian Trombonist based in London. She is currently undertaking an MMus in jazz trombone at Trinity Laban conservatoire of music and dance, where she is developing her own compositions as well as her capacity for jazz improvisation.

Laura runs 11-piece Afro jazz band ‘Yamäya’ featuring Senegalese vocalist Khadim Saar. They just reached the finals of this year’s Glastonbury emerging talent competition. She also plays in a plethora of diverse bands from swing to jive, reggae, afro beat and Latin music, as well as various experimental music projects.

Laura has just returned from touring in the orchestra for Gifford’s Circus, as well as performing with Grammy Award-winning band ‘First Aid Kit’ and reggae legend Ken Boothe.

Laura also has a developed interest in holistic well being.  She is a qualified and experienced yoga teacher, sports massage therapist and has started the process of studying to become a Karuna Institute core process psychotherapist.
