Creative English Classes

While traditional English classes can feel abstract or disconnected from lived experience, creative English uses art, storytelling, music, drama, and visual work to make language learning feel relevant and personal - young people learn as a group words and structures through things that matter to them, spearheaded by Dima Karout.

When/Where: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-5pm, CR0 1ND (Term Time).

For Whom: UASC’s aged 14-17 plus those who engaged with us pre-18. Drops ins and referrals welcome!

Tailored Support

1-1 Education/Language Support & Mentoring

Focus: Providing vital language support to assist with comprehension and reduce isolation; educational support to help young people adjust to the demands of mainstream schooling; higher-education advice to help young people successfully manage exams and expand career aspirations.

When/Where: At the convenience of young people’s schedules. In-person or online.

For Whom: UASC’s aged 15-21+. Only available to those already attending our after school classes and working with one or more of our other departments.
